Updates

Hi Parents,
    We are having a great time in Target! We have a couple of news items to share with you.

             -Our Buck Bash will take place the week of March 24th. We would love donations of small toys or games. Nothing too expensive - dollar store or stuff your children don't use anymore is perfect.

              -Christy Garvin (Vaughan Target teacher and National Science Teacher of the year J ) will once again teach a STEM camp at Georgia Tech this summer.  It is called “Return to the Moon” and is designed for rising 4^th-6^th graders.  Participants do not have to be in a gifted program to attend.  The camp teaches the design engineering process and then has kids involved in several design challenges that cover different skills. Therefore, it appears to correlate nicely with the goals and standards of the gifted program.
